Survivor: Redemption Island' Premiere

Survivor: Redemption Island' Season 22 Episode 1 Premiere Online is now considered as the most adventure shows for the Survivor actually the last event for this are survivor Nicaragua and that also considered as the highlights one .

You’re Looking at the New Leader of Your Tribe” Season 22 episode 1 – Oh man, does it feel good to have Survivor back! After many people (Including myself) thought that last season was quite a disappointment, especially considering the fact that it followed the incredible Heroes vs. Villains. However, if this episode is any indication, Survivor‘s back and it’s taking no prisoners. If you disagree you can take Phillip’s advice and “Pipe that”!

There was so much great stuff all crammed into this one premiere, so I’m gonna go through this episode chronologically and discuss the things that stuck out at me. First of all, let’s discuss the return of Rob vs. Russell. While I’m excited that these guys are back in the game, I’m a little surprised that they didn’t hold onto them and bring them back for a season where they aren’t doing this “Redemption Island” thing. It seems strange that they’re throwing two “hooks” into the same season, and it would have been nice for them to make sure that they don’t have a boring Survivor like Nicaragua was by holding on to one of these ideas until season 23.

I guess it would be best to get this out of the way right now: I am a HUGE Russell fan. I know, I know, I’ve heard all the arguments against the guy. He has no social game, he’s a brute, he’s cruel and he’ll never win with the way he plays the game. I’m not so blind of a fan that I can’t see the man’s flaws, I just think he’s an incredibly strategic player and he must be doing something right if he’s made it to the end both times he’s played. It was interesting to see him gather his tribe in the opening minutes and try to calm their fears by assuring them that he was a changed mind. He had me going for a second there! Minutes after this speech he meets up with his cute, small, tri-syllabicly named sidekick who he will take to the end of the game. (Previous versions of this sidekick have included Natalie and Parvati, in case you were confused). We’ll see how long him and Stephanie last, but it’s worked well before!

Seeing the two tribes working together is like night and day. You’ve got Rob on one side, who seems universally adored and respected, and Russell on the other who seems distrusted and despised by most of the people on his tribe. It will be interesting to see these two battle through.

Ok, let’s stop jibber-jabbering and cut to the crazy. I have three words for you guys: Phillip. Freaking. Sheppard. Somebody please get this guy a reality show on TLC, stat. I love how he treated his whole “federal agent” info like it was a huge secret, but then continued to tell anybody who would sit still long enough all about it. It doesn’t ring true that it’s a burden of a secret if you yell out at tribal council “I was a federal agent!” I can’t tell you which part of Phillip I love the most. The red whitey-tighties (Reddy-tighties?), “Pipe that”, how he fancies himself such a ladies man, or the fact that he can NOT for the life of him pronounce “Francesca”. Fransheshua? Francesque? Every time it was something different! Oh man this guy is gold.

While it’s kind of sad to see somebody who seemed to have so much potential leave the game so early, Francesca still has a chance to get back in! We’ll see how this whole Redemption Island thing works out, but if the first episode is any indication this is going to be a great season!
